The story is about Michelle and Sam, one who prefers to have everything under control and wants to make her family proud, the other who values freedom and independence more than anything. When the two happen to meet by chance, a romance starts and worlds collide.
The story has a focus on love, family and culture. The writer and artist seem to have put a lot of care into it to make it as accurate as possible. It is written as if Michelle told the story herself, which makes it easy to follow and also helps to understand her thought process. The contrast between the characters is high, but is handled in a very realistic way, they both remain true to their own personality. If you like stories that have a moderate amount of drama, an accurate setting of 1980s Hong Kong and romance, then this is the story for you!
The music used in this visual novel suits the 1980’s Hong Kong setting very well, it features music from Timecop1983, Crystal Cola, and Stevia Sphere. The art is often a bit blurry, with a focus on the city lights.
