Love Design is a Thai short series that released in 2025. The series launched a popular CP/ship* of the two main leads, Kao Supassara Thanachart and Jane Methika Jiranorraphat ( also known as Janeyeh). The CP names are KaoJane, JaneKao and 9779 ( also the fandom name).
In the story, the architect Aokbab returns to Thailand to run the design company once started by her mother. Her goal is to defeat the rival company that is run by Mind, a former lover and senior who had stolen her work. If that wasn’t difficult enough already, she unexpectedly falls for Rin, a brilliant architect who might just make the difference.
The pace of the story is slow, which is very fitting for the overal calm and gentle vibe. Drama is also not overly toxic and handled in a clear, sometimes even funny, way. The leads have a straightforward and mischievous relationship, the side couple has a more serious tone. In case you were interested because of the architecture, the story is more focused on the relationships between characters, the architecture parts do not have a lot of depth.
The cinematics are beautiful and of high quality, but what really ties it all together was the bgm composed by James Nattapon. Unfortunately the bgm is not available yet, it will be released on December 20th. Kao and janeeyeh’s songs that are at the start and end of each episode can be found on most major streaming services.
